Pulling Together for Pillows

The teams at iSpace and MSpace are pulling together again! Our iMpact team is partnering with our friends at Bridging to host a pillow drive to collect bed pillows for those in need.

Bridging is a 501(c)(3) non-profit serving the greater Twin Cities and THE LARGEST furniture bank in North America. Bridging improves the lives of others by connecting those in need and those with excess. In operation for more than 25 years, and with nearly 50,000 square feet of storage space, Bridging has furnished over 60,000 homes since 1987! Last year Bridging distributed over 12,000 new pillows. The year this need is even bigger!

Here are the details for our pillow drive:

What: New Pillow Drive

When: October 29-31, 2014 (drop-off between 8am – 5pm).

Where: The iSpace/MSpace Showroom @ 811 Glenwood Avenue, Minneapolis

We are looking for NEW bed pillows – any size/style. We will collect them in our showroom and watch them pile up! At the end of our drive we’ll load them into our trucks and deliver them to Bridging who will distribute them to those in need.

This opportunity is open to ANY and ALL people who care about our neighbors and want to help make a difference in lives.

If you collect ’em, we’ll pick ’em up!

If your organization collects pillows on your end, we’ll swing by and pick them up from you! Just give us a call at 612-278-9241 to arrange a pick-up!  Thanks, all, for your interest and help!

A Little Inter-Office Competition!

To really rev up our efforts in this Pillow Drive, we are going to give away Visa gift cards to the top three iSpace and MSpace staff people who bring in (or convince their friends to bring in) the most pillows. If you are a friend of iSpace or MSpace and bring in pillows, make sure you let us know to whose account your pillows should be tallied!

Thank You!

UPDATE 11/3/14 – Our Pillow Drive was a huge success! iSpace and MSpace team members, and our extended families and associates, collected just shy of 100 pillows for those in need in the Twin Cities Metro area. We delivered our piles of pillows to our friends at Bridging this morning and look forward to our next community outreach program. A big THANK YOU to all who helped in any way.
